The establishment is situated on a 60-acre estate located in East Sussex, and maintains strong connections with the local community, including schools, churches, and sports organisations.Your new roleWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate SEN Supply Teacher to support students with specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, and other educational needs. Your mission will be to inspire confidence, creativity, and a love for mathematics, tailoring your teaching methods to meet individual learning requirements.Key Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student confidence and achievement.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with SEN specialists and parents.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies where necessary.
- Participate actively in professional development and contribute to the school's SEN initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with SpLD.
- A strong understanding of effective strategies for teaching mathematics to SEN learners.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to making a positive impact on every student's education.
