Semi Senior Accountant Job Vacancy

This small, boutique and independent firm of accountants are recruiting into an exciting Semi Senior job in Saffron Walden. If you’re a Junior or Semi Senior accountant looking for a role that offers exposure to a wide range of exciting clients and a high degree of mentorship and study support, this role could be the one and we’d be delighted to receive your application or offer you a confidential call to discuss it in more detail.

JobPurpose
  • Support a varied client portfolio, undertaking a range of assignments including:
  • Preparation of accounts
  • Preparation of VAT submissions
  • Supporting the preparation of tax returns
  • Assisting the bookkeeping and payroll teams with general duties
  • Liaise directly with clients, building good rapport and handling queries
  • Work closely with the senior management team, including supporting Partners with projects
  • Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Champion your own professional development, learning from an experienced team

Job Requirements
  • ATT, ACCA or ACA qualified, part qualified, or planning to study in the near future.
  • Previous experience supporting clients within practice.
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Multi-tasker with great time management and a can-do attitude to problem-solving.
  • Organised and able to manage own workload effectively.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Confident working alongside senior management.
  • Motivated and able to inspire others.
  • Collaborative and creative.
