New Business Development Manager

Location: Hinxton, Cambs

Hours: 37.5hours Monday to Friday onsite

Salary: £30-34k with bi annual bonus and a potential monthly bonus

Unicorn Resourcing is thrilled to be working with our client based in Saffron Waldon, Essex, who is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced New Business Development Manager. Our client is a leading company in their industry and is offering a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and results-driven individual to make a significant impact and develop their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve company growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutual benefit for both the company and clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective strategies for lead generation.
  • Keep updated on industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, including pipeline, forecasts, and revenue.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Prior experience in a Business Development Manager or similar role, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • From a manufacturing or production background ideally such as windows/doors or similar
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, complemented by a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business development principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM software and other sales management tools.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to thrive in a target-driven environment.
