MAIN PURPOSE
路 To provide effective support services to the partners, fee earners and practice manager, and generally contribute to the continuing success of the firm
KEY TASKS
路 Type work as dictated or requested by any partner or fee earner
路 Assist in personal organization of fee earners through the operation of a diary management system, including bring forward system, filing of papers, etc.
路 Assist in communications with clients through meeting and greeting, relaying telephone messages both incoming and outgoing, providing any assistance which is possible, dealing with post.
路 Ensure the positive representation of the firm in all dealings with clients and others.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
路 Having the necessary skills to deal with telephone calls and dealing with the firm鈥檚 computer database.
路 Detailed understanding of systems and procedures for specific work area e.g. private client.
路 Ability and willingness to carry out support work in other areas of the practice, including Reception and Switchboard cover.
- 路 Compliance with external regulatory requirements (e.g. Law Society, Law Society, Information Commissioner) and prompt completion of continuous compliance training. 路 Knowledge of individual client鈥檚 requirements and commitment to providing excellent client care at all times.
