We are looking for an experienced Band 5/6 ACT/MMT Pharmacy Technician to join a hospital-based pharmacy team in Cambridge . This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and GPHC registered pharmacy technician with prior hospital or community experience.
Key Requirements:
- Must hold ACT qualification
- GPHC registration is essential
- Prior hospital or community pharmacy experience
- Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Final checking of medication prior to it being dispensed.Â
- If hospital experience will be required on the wards (MMT roles)
- Ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medication
- Work closely with pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Assist in the management of medication stock and inventory
