Our client is seeking a dedicated Production and Engineering Technician - Electronics to join their team permanently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technician support to production and engineering teams
- Repair and maintain electronic radar systems as part of production and RMA processes
- Assemble prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies
- Test and configure radar systems in support of the Test Technician
- Maintain documentation and change control in accordance with processes
- Design and/or build prototype test jigs and assemblies
- Provide drone operator support for trials - training will be given
- Support field trials and demonstrations, mostly local, occasionally national, rarely international
- Provide occasional off-site support at customer and supplier premises
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience working with advanced electrical and electronic devices
- Strong technical competence with appropriate engineering knowledge and awareness of standard electrical lab practices and processes
- Hands-on practical skills in building, fixing, and modifying electronic and/or electromechanical equipment
- Highly analytical with a strong focus on details
- Excellent team player, personable and communicative
- HNC or higher qualification in electronics or electrical engineering
