Our client is seeking a dedicated Production and Engineering Technician - Electronics to join their team permanently.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technician support to production and engineering teams
  • Repair and maintain electronic radar systems as part of production and RMA processes
  • Assemble prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies
  • Test and configure radar systems in support of the Test Technician
  • Maintain documentation and change control in accordance with processes
  • Design and/or build prototype test jigs and assemblies
  • Provide drone operator support for trials - training will be given
  • Support field trials and demonstrations, mostly local, occasionally national, rarely international
  • Provide occasional off-site support at customer and supplier premises


Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience working with advanced electrical and electronic devices
  • Strong technical competence with appropriate engineering knowledge and awareness of standard electrical lab practices and processes
  • Hands-on practical skills in building, fixing, and modifying electronic and/or electromechanical equipment
  • Highly analytical with a strong focus on details
  • Excellent team player, personable and communicative
  • HNC or higher qualification in electronics or electrical engineering
