Sonic Summary

Our Client is seeking a Sous Chef for a beautiful resort located on the South Devon coast, offering excellent team training.
The position comes with a salary of £40,000 plus up to £4,000 in trunk, meals on duty, and live-in accommodations available.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience at a Junior Sous Chef level and a strong understanding of kitchen management.
Experience in fresh food environments, ideally with Michelin star or Rosette experience, is preferred.
An immediate start is available for those eligible to live and work in the UK, and a car driver is essential.

As a Sous Chef, you will be working 5 days a week and will need to be able to step up in support of the Head Chef and run the Kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. Using fresh produce with a seasonal changing menu and an emphasis on local goods, you will be asked for ideas and encouraged to develop yourself. The successful Sous Chef will need to have a strong understanding of kitchen management and staff training, be able to deputise in the senior chefs absence and be keen to help develop daily specials.We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate a good track record in a fresh food based environments, trained to at Junior Sous Chef level and be an excellent team player. (Brigade of 8 -10) Ideally will have Michelin star or Rosette experience and be looking to really challenge your creative side.
