We are recruiting for a Customer Consultant to work at our branch in Sale. This role is all about engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing information about our full range of savings products and services. By truly listening and getting to know our customers, you'll help them review their circumstances and goals, while delivering a straightforward, helpful service that lets your enthusiasm and professionalism shine through.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Be the First Point of Contact:Warmly welcome customers, both in-branch and over the phone, making a lasting impression and ensuring their first interaction with us is a positive one.
- Engage and Understand:Ask insightful questions to uncover and understand our customer's needs, providing tailored solutions that truly make a difference.
- Listen and Tailor Solutions:Carefully listen to each customer's unique circumstances and offer personalised solutions that meet their needs, ensuring the best outcomes for both the customer and our organisation.
- Proactive Outreach:Reach out to customers over the phone, identifying their needs and discussing how we can support them.
- Maintain Accurate Records:Use our internal systems to ensure customer records are up-to-date and accurate, with a special focus on identifying and supporting vulnerable customers.
- Adhere to Policies:Understand and adhere to our policies, standards, and controls, with comprehensive training and coaching to support you in your role.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience interacting with customers, whether in person or over the phone.
- Experience in retail, food & beverage, guest services, or even the health/care sector.
- A passion for delivering exceptional service and going above and beyond.
- Ability to work well alongside others, with a 'one-team' mindset.
- Ability to react fast when the day gets busy and handle a wide variety of different customers with excellent time management.
- Desire and ability to grow, adapt, and change while accommodating business needs and priorities.

- Permanent Role:Working 21 hours per week across Monday to Saturday.
- Salary:pro rata to 13,765.88 per annum based on working 21 hours per week).
- Annual Discretionary Bonus Scheme:On average, our Customer Consultants have received an on-target bonus of 8% dependent on personal and company performance.
