About the Role:

A leading interior fit-out company is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Estimator to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a high volume of interior fit-out and office fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and take-offs
  • Source and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Assist in the development of project budgets
  • Liaise with clients, designers, and contractors
  • Use estimating software to prepare accurate costings
  • Review project progress and identify potential cost variances

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Good understanding of construction methods and materials
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience with estimating software (e.g., WinQS, CostX) is advantageous but not essential
