We have an exciting Locum Social Work opportunity within a Older Adult Mental Health Team based in the Trafford, Greater Manchester area.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an existing complex caseload of service users with enduring mental health challenges including dementia
  • Conduct assessments and risk management while providing casework supervision to team members
  • Collaborate with service users and stakeholders to contribute to service planning
  • Act as a Care Coordinator under the CPA framework when required


To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:

  • Diploma/Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England
  • 1-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a Community Mental Health Team
  • Proven ability to manage a complex caseload
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding support in the mental health sector
