Speech and Language Teaching Assistant - Trafford

Have you got experience working with children who have Speech and Language needs and looking for your next 1:1 role in a Trafford based Primary School?

This two-form entry Primary school require a Teaching Assistant to support a young boy in Year 1 who has Speech and Language delay. The child was born prematurely so is only using single words and short phrases. They use Wellcomm, Colourful Semantics, black sheep resources, visual approaches to tasks and have a detailed Speech and Language plan from Trafford which gives addition guidance.

This school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with students who have Speech and Language difficulties. You will be working as part of a team to provide this child with the 1:1 support he needs.

A successful candidate must be:

  • Experience with Speech and Language Needs
  • Experience in a Primary School setting
  • Able to start ASAP
  • Already have or be happy to apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure.
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
