European Financial Controller

Your new companyYou will be joining a leading global product-based business with an excellent reputation for its excellent working environment and culture. The company is growing at an expediential rate, organically and through acquisitions, and is developing its footprint by hiring a Group Financial Controller.Your new roleYou will be tasked initially with developing the already high-performing Qualified and Transactional team, alongside supporting the Group Finance Director. The role will include adhering to a strict timeline to produce a robust European consolidated P&L month-end close, alongside management of multiple European entities. Driving insightful reporting and preparation and the reviewing of statutory accounts for all European subsidiaries will also be key in this role. You will be the key decision maker of defining new ways of working alongside the Director of SSC and driving best practice around behaviours and the culture.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with previous experience of dealing within complex accounting structures within a product-based organisation. You'll have strong communication skills and be able to adapt and communicate with colleagues/stakeholders at various levels. You'll have a strong personality, produce competency and behaviour frameworks, with the ability to influence and drive high standards across medium/large finance teams.What you'll get in returnYou'll receive a salary of up to £90k alongside a strong benefits package, a flexible hybrid model and brilliant career progression opportunities.
