Senior Accountant/ Associate Partner

Location: Salford Quays

Salary: circa £45,000- £60,000 DOE

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Accountant/ Associate Partner to join our client based in Manchester, taking a leading role in managing the accounting needs of their diverse client portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with proven experience in a varied general practice role, managing their own portfolio. This role is perfect for an entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a collaborative, client-facing environment and takes pride in delivering tailored, high-quality accounting services. It's an excellent opportunity to build your own team, whilst being instrumental in shaping the firm's growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting needs of a portfolio of businesses across various sectors, building strong client
  • Prepare accurate and timely year-end accounts and management
  • Prepare accurate and timely corporation tax computations and
  • Provide support to clients during tax audits, corresponding with HMRC as
  • Provide tailored tax planning advice to clients to optimise their tax
  • Assist clients in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-
  • Provide guidance on optimizing cash flow and liquidity to strengthen financial
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and best practice
  • Identify and advise on potential financial risks to clients, proposing strategies to mitigate
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in clients' financial systems and
  • Contribute to the growth and success of our firm by identifying business development
  • Work closely with other colleagues to deliver a seamless service to

Essential skills:

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified (or equivalent)
  • An up-to-date knowledge of all relevant accounting
  • Experience working in a varied general practice
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with
  • Demonstrated commitment to building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
