Structural Engineer
Salford Quays, Greater Manchester.
32k-40k + car allowance + bonus
A well-renowned and highly-impressive international multidisciplinary consultancy are looking for a Structural Engineer with around 3-4 years' design experience to join their team based in Salford Quays in Greater Manchester.
You will work on exciting engineering projects with niche clients in a range of sectors, including Life Sciences, Industrial, Custodial and Education and will join a team that value innovative ideas, client service and following best industry practice.
You will have access to company's wider network of engineers where you can share ideas, discuss challenges and learn.
These positions would most likely require SC clearance - candidates can start with BPSS clearance but will need to be willing and able to undergo SC clearance.
The right Structural Engineer will be:
- Someone who can come in and be a do-er
- At least 2+ years of post-graduate experience in a professional capacity
- Candidate is progressing towards CEng MICE or MIStructE
- Knowledge/Experience in some (or all) of the below:
Non Negotiable:
- Knowledge/Experience in Projects from RIBA Stage 0/1-6
- Knowledge/Experience Calculating and Detailing for Steel/Concrete/Timber/Masonry Structures
- Knowledge/Experience in Working to Known Deadlines and Fees/Resourcing
- Knowledge/Experience in Developing Deliverables with Engineers and Technicians
Preferred but not non-negotiable:
- Candidate is progressing towards CEng MICE or MIStructE
- Knowledge/Experience of working in Computational Analysis Programs (for example Masterseries)
Remote working: hybrid working according to company 1 day per week, first week essentially in the office to settle etc and from there when agreed they can work the hybrid approach - most people come in 2-3 times a week as they prefer it.
The right candidate can expect a salary of around 32,000 - 40,000 depending on industry experience as well as a car allowance, an annual performance-related bonus, benefits and pension on top.
