Our Cafe & Wine Bar is on a journey to capture the essence of authentic Greek life, infusing it into every aspect of our offering.

We're bringing a Mediterranean twist to beloved brunch classics, while our evening wine bar and meze selection take you straight to the heart of Greece. Our space effortlessly blends vintage charm with contemporary style, creating an organic, welcoming atmosphere perfect for unwinding.

We are seeking a talented and experienced chef de partie to join our small but passionate team. As the Cdp, youll be a natural cook, running a section of our small kitchen efficiently and cleanly, ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen is the best it can possibly be. Our CDP will be able to thrive in busy service, prep meticulously, always be organized and work with hygiene and cleanliness as a priority. This role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a new project and offers significant growth opportunities. We want to give the resources to our staff to grow within our business and then promote from within as the business grows. Responsibilities:

Service: To be able to run a section smoothly, efficiently and with flair.

Food Preparation:Prepare recipes to spec, working cleanly and minimizing waste wherever possible

Quality Control:Ensure that all the dishes meet our standards, tasting constantly

Hygiene and Safety:Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, following food safety guidelines.

Inventory Management:Check early morning deliveries and manage inventory efficiently including stock takes.

Requirements:

Experience:Proven experience as CDP or demi CDP

Culinary Skills:Proficient in prep and service cooking

Attention to Detail:Ensure precision in food presentation and quality

Hygiene Certification:Food hygiene level 2 certification is preferred

Attitude: A can-do attitude at all times. Skills can be taught. A positive attitude is innate
