Overview

Compass Associates are proud to be working alongside an established provider who specialise in providing high quality Children’s social care services, to help recruit an experienced Registered Manager for their established Residential Service based in the Salford Area.

The Candidate

As the Registered Manager you will have overall responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staff team and continuous collaboration with the company’s quality team. You will be overseeing the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst working closely alongside the Regional Manager, where together you will ensure the children receive the best care. You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, particularly in relation to Ofsted rules and regulations. Moreover, they will also require strong people management and communication skills, as well as sound commercial understanding.

Salary and Benefits

A salary of £52,000 per annum with benefits including:

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted home that carries a rating of 'Good’ or above.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children's and Young People's Workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification in Children and Young People's Services.
  • Strong knowledge regarding Ofsted regulations and policies
  • Attention to detail and never compromising on quality
  • Passionate that children and young people should have equal opportunities, a voice that should be heard and they should be enabled to create their own bright futures.
  • Driving Licence - Essential

Location

The role is located in Salford, Greater Manchester and is commutable from Manchester City Centre, Stockport, Eccles, Oldham and Bolton.
