We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager for a new 3-bed children’s home based in Salford. This is an exciting opportunity for career development, with a clear growth plan to progress from Registered Manager to Responsible Individual, as part of our vision to open four homes in the next three years. The home is set to open as soon as possible, and we are looking for a candidate who is ready to lead and make a positive impact from day one.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the operational management of the children’s home, ensuring high standards of care and service are maintained.
  • Lead and inspire a team to provide a safe, nurturing environment for the children.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.
  • Manage the home’s budget and resources effectively.
  • Ensure that each child’s care plan is followed and adapted as needed to meet their individual needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Prepare for and actively engage in regulatory inspections, striving for outstanding outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the home, including staff training and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must possess Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
  • Must hold Level 3 Children and Young People qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s home setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of the regulatory framework governing children’s homes.
  • Must be a driver with a valid driving licence.
  • Commitment to providing the highest level of care and support to children.
