Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Manager, you will:
- Oversee the maintenance, replacement, and installation of communal energy systems, including:
- Credit and prepay meters.
- Data loggers, wiring, and broadband systems.
- Manage projects end-to-end, from installation to commissioning and system onboarding for accurate billing.
- Respond to system faults to minimise downtime.
- Provide technical advice to clients on system strategies, performance, and development.
- Review and approve engineering changes and commissioning protocols.
- Maintain an asset inventory for systems across various locations.
- Coordinate on-site vendors and sub-contracted engineers, ensuring high standards.
- Lead projects involving brownfield and greenfield developments, focusing on building-wide metering systems.
What You Bring
- Technical Expertise: Background in M&E Services, Facilities Management, or Building Services, ideally with previous hands-on experience in metering, data loggers, and control systems (e.g., BMS, MBUS, LORAWAN).
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage projects effectively from start to finish (Repair and Installation)
- Client-Facing Experience: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
- Attention to Detail: High proficiency in IT, numeracy, literacy, and data accuracy.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required (transport provided)
- Driving License: Full UK driving license is essential.
