Job Title: Building Surveyor

Location: Salford

Contract Details: Full-time, temporary

Salary: From £20.04 per hour

Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional service to clients in the private, education, and local authority sectors
Take charge of early-stage design and feasibility work
Collaborate with clients to develop detailed briefs
Prepare production information and carry out detailed design work
Act as a Project Manager
Administer building contracts and serve as the 'Lead Discipline' on programmed capital projects
Undertake various aspects of professional surveying work, including surveys, PW work, dilapidations, DDA and FRA assessments
Conduct inspections to resolve building defects, liaising with contractors and managing the works

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Degree in Building Surveying or related field
Relevant professional experience in surveying and project management
Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using various surveying and design software tools

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Experience working with diverse clients and sectors
Familiarity with environmentally sustainable construction practises
