Job Title: Building Surveyor

Location: Salford

Contract Details: Full-time, temporary

Salary: From £20.04 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to clients in the private, education, and local authority sectors
  • Take charge of early-stage design and feasibility work
  • Collaborate with clients to develop detailed briefs
  • Prepare production information and carry out detailed design work
  • Act as a Project Manager
  • Administer building contracts and serve as the 'Lead Discipline' on programmed capital projects
  • Undertake various aspects of professional surveying work, including surveys, PW work, dilapidations, DDA and FRA assessments
  • Conduct inspections to resolve building defects, liaising with contractors and managing the works

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Degree in Building Surveying or related field
  • Relevant professional experience in surveying and project management
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using various surveying and design software tools

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience working with diverse clients and sectors
  • Familiarity with environmentally sustainable construction practises
