Specialist Teaching Assistant - Salford
Hays Education is excited to recruit a Specialist Teaching Assistant for a dedicated primary SEN school in Salford. This role is open to candidates at any level, with a preference for those who have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Your Role:
- Support & Care: Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met. Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding and toileting, as required.
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside the class teacher and other staff members to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Engagement & Encouragement: Foster a positive atmosphere to promote student engagement and learning.
What We Need:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
