My client are a longstanding manufacturing business based in Salford turning over circa £30 million per year. Having been operating for over 60 years, they are well established in their sector and have a wealth of industry experience across their employees.
Description
- Delivering monthly management accounts including analysis and insights
- Ownership of the balance sheet and key reconciliations
- Responsible for weekly accounts
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
- Continuously improving processes and enhancing reporting systems
- Commercial analysis - improving performance, data analysis utilising BI tools
- Interpret financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to management
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and policies
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Support SLT where necessary
- Support and develop financial and operational accountants
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA) / Qualified by Experience
- Experience in Food Manufacturing or FMCG desirable but not essential
- Advanced Excel & MRP systems experience
