Transactional Finance Manager- circa 5 month contract

Location: Salford

Salary: circa £40,000 DOE

I am currently recruiting for an organisation in the education sector, who are looking for a Transactional Finance Manager to join the team on an interim basis for circa 5 months. You will manage the finance operations team, analysing financial transactions and providing guidance to the team, ensuring processes and procedures are followed and contributing to the teams overall success.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the key focuses will include:

  • Support the team in providing a comprehensive purchase ledger service on behalf of the Group
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all purchase orders and invoices, and the prompt payment to suppliers
  • Oversee the sales ledger and credit control processes
  • Lead and motivate the transactional finance team; fostering a collaborative culture
  • Support with any queries and ensure issues are resolved promptly

Suitable candidates must have proven experience leading/ managing a small team and have strong purchase ledger experience. The contract will commence early January and will be largely office based (there is flexibility on start/finish times). Please apply now for immediate consideration.
