We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Buying Admin Assistant to join our retail department. You the Buying Admin Assistant will have excellent organisational skills and a keen interest in the retail industry and homeware.

Our client is a medium-sized retail business specialising in Textiles & Homeware. With a headcount of about 200 employees, the company is headquartered in Worsley and prides itself on its strong commitment to value and customer service.
Description
- Supporting the buying team in day-to-day administrative tasks
- You the Buying Admin Assistant will assist in the management of product orders and deliveries
- Helping to maintain an accurate and up-to-date product database
- Conducting market research to aid in buying decisions
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations
- Communicating with suppliers and internal teams
- Ensuring all purchasing documents and records are correctly filed
- Contributing to the overall efficiency of the retail department
Profile
- A good standard of education, ideally a Buying & Merchandising degree or similar
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- An interest in the retail industry and a desire to learn
