We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Buying Admin Assistant to join our retail department. You the Buying Admin Assistant will have excellent organisational skills and a keen interest in the retail industry.

Our client is a medium-sized retail business specialising in Textiles & Homeware. With a headcount of about 200 employees, the company is headquartered in Worsley and prides itself on its strong commitment to value and customer service.

Description

  • Supporting the buying team in day-to-day administrative tasks
  • You the Buying Admin Assistant will assist in the management of product orders and deliveries
  • Helping to maintain an accurate and up-to-date product database
  • Conducting market research to aid in buying decisions
  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations
  • Communicating with suppliers and internal teams
  • Ensuring all purchasing documents and records are correctly filed
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency of the retail department

Profile

  • A good standard of education, preferably with a focus on business or retail
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • An interest in the retail industry and a desire to learn
