A top-tier accounting firm is seeking a qualified finance professional to join its Financial Reporting & Advisory team as an Assistant Manager, offering the opportunity to develop expertise in UK GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102, managing a diverse client portfolio from SMEs to listed companies.You will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, consolidations, and advisory services, ensuring compliance with reporting standards. The role involves managing client relationships, supporting junior team members, and advising on transition management, acquisitions, and restructures.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of complex clients, overseeing financial reporting and advisory work.
  • Review financial statements, consolidations, and cashflows under UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Lead client interactions, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Support junior staff development through training and feedback.
  • Contribute to business development, identifying new opportunities.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation, consolidations, and advisory work.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and confidently resolve technical queries.
