Job Title: Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Location: Manchester
Pay Rate: £95 per day
A supportive school in Manchester is looking for an enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience while assisting with the delivery of lessons and supporting students across various subjects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to helping students succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities, including setting up resources and supporting lesson delivery
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, especially those with additional learning needs
- Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage students to stay on task
- Offer pastoral support to students, promoting positive attitudes to learning and behaviour Support the implementation of any specific learning plans for students with SEND
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting (though this is not essential)
- A positive, proactive approach to supporting students in their learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and staff
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a passion for working in education
