An experienced Stock Controller position is available with a successful engineering client in Swinton due to business expansion.

Candidates should have previous stock controlling experience, ideally in the mechanical or engineering industry, and knowledge of Sage 50.
The job involves managing stock levels of approximately £25 million and includes responsibilities such as organizing transportation and conducting stock takes twice a year.

What you will be doing as a Stock Controller?

You will be setting a warehouse from scratch
Managing and maintaining stock
Manage a stock level of approx £25 million
Cross reference and deal with repeat orders on a regular dispatch
Upload inventory of stock on Sage 50
Marry up orders and check quantities of stock required
Organise any transportation of flat packed kits or fully assembled items with couriers
Liaise with local suppliers
Carry out a stock take twice a year, September and February
Work in conjunction with the financial controller, to ensure the purchasing and orders tally up

Previous Stock controlling experience
Experience working in a similar industry - mechanical or engineering
Sage 50 knowledge
Problem solver
Good attention to detail
