Tradewind is searching for a Year 1 Teacher to work with us after the October half-term holidays!

On behalf of a partner school, Tradewind is seeking a dedicated and flexible teacher to contribute to the progress and attainment of pupils in Year 1.

Role: Year 1 Teacher

Location: SalfordStart Date: after October half term holidaysPay: £120 - £150 per day, depending on experience

Year 1 TeacherThe selected teacher will play a vital role in supporting the progress and achievement of a high-performing class, which includes a group of SEND pupils.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons aligned with KS1 National Curriculum and the school's creative curriculum
  • Understanding and scaffolding age-appropriate learning expectations to optimise student outcomes
  • Maintaining up-to-date data records and identifying gaps to ensure continued high levels of attainment
  • Building positive, trust-based relationships with pupils
  • Collaborating effectively with Teaching Assistants, key stage teams, and other staff members to share resources and best practices

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong references supporting previous teaching experience
  • Full employment history detailed on CV
  • Right to work in the UK
