Quality Inspector & Continuous Improvement Coordinator - Up to 32,000/year

Here is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in Salford to help manage and perform continuous improvement activities, contribute to the safety & quality procedures and chamption the CI programme.
Responsibilities:
- Execute specific inspections on precision engineered & electrical components.
- Manually inspect product with handheld measurement tools such as Vernier's, Height gauges and shadow graphs.
- Approve incoming goods/materials by confirming specifications, visual inspections.
- Assist in designing and delivering a continuous improvement programme.
- Conduct and report Lean system implementation audits.
- Support 5s activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing/Engineering environment.
- Previous experience in deployment of Continuous Improvement & Lean projects.
- Familiarity with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 management systems.
- Familiar with 5S.
