You'll manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters while working within a collaborative and supportive culture.The Role:As a Commercial Conveyancer, you’ll have full autonomy over your own caseload, dealing with a wide variety of complex and high-value commercial property matters. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Managing end-to-end commercial property transactions, from initial instruction to final completion.
  • Acting on behalf of business owners, developers, landlords, tenants, and investors across acquisitions, disposals, leases, refinancing, and portfolio matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating a range of legal documents including leases, contracts, option agreements, and security instruments.
  • Carrying out due diligence including reviewing title documents, leases, search results, and lender conditions.
  • Overseeing intricate and high-value deals, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and effective risk management.
  • Providing strategic advice to clients on property investments, development projects, and asset management plans.
  • Engaging with clients, surveyors, lenders, and other professionals to ensure seamless transaction processes.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues, providing guidance and oversight when needed.
  • Identifying opportunities for business development, enhancing client relationships, and growing referral networks.
  • Staying informed on updates in property law, regulatory changes, and market developments.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ PQE in commercial property law, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
  • Proven experience across sales, purchases, leases, refinancing, and development work.
  • In-depth understanding of commercial property law, lease arrangements, and title complexities.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a focus on long-term client engagement.
  • A well-organised, self-motivated approach, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • A commercial mindset and strong problem-solving skills to deliver practical, client-focused solutions.
  • Confidence using case management systems and legal tech to enhance efficiency.
  • An ambition to contribute to the growth of the firm and deliver outstanding client service.
