About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students aged 11-16, aligning with the National Curriculum for English for Key Stages 3 and 4. You will collaborate with a passionate team of educators dedicated to promoting academic success and nurturing the individual progress of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver stimulating and challenging lessons for students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Create and implement innovative curriculum plans tailored to accommodate diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress, establish targets, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide targeted interventions for underperforming students to help bridge the attainment gap.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay current with developments in the curriculum and educational research, applying best practices to teaching methodologies.

Ideal Candidate:

  • You are a qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS.
  • Hold a degree in English or a related field (or possess significant relevant experience).
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Proven experience in teaching the National Curriculum for English at KS3 and KS4.
  • Proficient in utilizing a variety of assessment strategies to enhance student learning.
  • Committed to promoting a positive ethos and demonstrating exemplary traits for students to emulate.
