A Primary School based in Little Hulton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pastoral Lead to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the well-being and emotional development of the students, creating a nurturing environment where all children can thrive both academically and personally.

About the Role: As Pastoral Lead, you will work closely with students, staff, and families to provide tailored support to children facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. You will be instrumental in promoting a positive school culture, fostering resilience, and offering guidance to students in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the development and delivery of pastoral care strategies across the school.
  • Offer one-to-one support for students with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
  • Work closely with families to provide support, advice, and signposting to external agencies when necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create personalized action plans for students requiring additional support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture through well-being programs and interventions.
  • Monitor the progress of students' well-being and emotional development, reporting on key outcomes.

About You:

  • Proven experience working in a pastoral or support role, ideally within a school setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the emotional and mental health of children.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and creating a positive school atmosphere.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., in child development, pastoral care, or social work) are desirable but not essential.
