We're currently working with a local authority in central Manchester Adult Care Services who are committed to providing high-quality support to vulnerable adults across the city. The team are currently looking for passionate, dedicated social workers to join their dedicated team

The Forensic Social Work Team plays a crucial role in assisting individuals involved in the criminal justice system, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support to promote rehabilitation and community reintegration.

  • 1 x 35 hours role-5 days per week
  • 1 x 28 hours role- 4 days per week

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support individuals involved in the justice system
  • Develop intervention plans and provide therapeutic support
  • Advocate for clients and collaborate with agencies
  • Maintain accurate case records and attend court when needed

To be considered for the Social Worker role, ideally you will have:

  • BSc Social Work or equivalent
  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience of working within a similar forensic/mental health or criminal justice setting
