Job Title: Plumber
Location:Salford
Hourly Rate:25 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team in Salford. The ideal candidates will be responsible for 2nd fixings and snagging work, ensuring that plumbing systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency in plumbing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. There is work available until August/September 2025, providing stable, long-term employment.
Duties
- Perform 2nd fixings and snagging tasks on plumbing systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assemble and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and bathtubs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure smooth project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while on the job.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Ability to plumb various systems according to industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, especially with snagging and 2nd fix plumbing.
- Previous experience in carpentry is a plus for integrated projects.
- Commercial driving skills are advantageous for transporting tools and materials.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
