Our client, a growing, independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team in Salisbury.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients.

Duties will include:-

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, leading client meetings, and advising clients.
  • Managing client relationship including, quoting, agreeing services, invoicing, payment method and annual engagement renewal
  • Producing Management and Annual Accounts, forecasts and performance reports
  • Build strong relationships with professional contacts, e.g. IFA's, solicitors and financial institutions to encourage referrals and access funding and support for clients
  • Mentor team, providing feedback, training, and support to ensure accurate, efficient, and profitable service.
  • Report to the Directors on portfolio performance and internal targets setoverseeing the VAT compliance processes for the organisation, dealing with the preparation, review and submission of VAT returns.

You will ideally hold a professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA and have at least 3 years' UK practice experience with a strong accounts background. Study support may be offered if required.
