Role responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients across a range of industries
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and computations
- Providing advice on capital gains tax, inheritance tax, trusts and business structuring
- Acting as a point of contact for client queries and building long-term relationships
- Supporting tax planning assignments alongside senior colleagues
- Assisting with HMRC enquiries and correspondence
- Mentoring junior team members and reviewing their work
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and helping to implement best practice

Candidate requirements
- ATT or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience, with significant tax experience in practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK personal and corporate tax legislation
- Experience managing a portfolio and delivering tax compliance and advisory services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and professional approach with a focus on client care
- Ability to mentor and support junior team members
