Salisbury BID is seeking to appoint an outstanding Chief Executive to lead the organisation, delivering growth and success for Salisbury鈥檚 businesses and the city centre. The role offers a unique opportunity to lead transformative initiatives within a historic and vibrant city and a platform to influence city-wide strategies, promoting Salisbury as a premier destination to live, work, and visit, ensuring the city's rich heritage is complemented by innovative growth. This position allows you to work in a supportive environment that values leadership, creativity and community engagement.
You will be working 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility subject to organisational needs, and salary is up to 拢50,000. 25 days holiday and a contributory pension scheme are also part of the package.
As the new Chief Executive you will combine management of an already successful business with an annual budget of approximately 拢400,000 with a strategy that raises the profile of the city focussing on three key areas, Experience, Influence and Place which aim to support businesses in the BID area and drive growth and improvements to the trading environment.
To succeed in this role as Chief Executive you will be an innovative, determined and inspirational leader, able to build effective partnerships, influence key stakeholders and drive change. Your key tasks will include:
路 Lead the BID in partnership with the Board, setting its strategic vision and ensuring its success.
路 Provide strategic direction, build strong stakeholder relationships and enhance the BID鈥檚 value.
路 Ensure transparent governance, financial risk management and effective Board engagement.
路 Oversee financial management, resource acquisition and staff development while ensuring strategic adaptability.
路 Lead business plan implementation, contract oversight and performance measurement.
路 Build strong stakeholder relationships, maintain effective communication and manage media engagement.
路 Develop and communicate the BID鈥檚 value, engage businesses, and lead the ballot campaign process.
