Robert Half are working in partnership with a reputable, values-led organisation in Salisbury to recruit a Finance Manager role on a full-time permanent basis. This is a challenging role that will be heavily involved with producing management accounts and business partnering with various stakeholders and entities, whilst managing a small team. The Finance Manager role will be suitable for someone that is AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience that is keen to add value and be a part of great company that is renowned for offering an excellent work culture. The salary is between £37,000 - £42,000 plus hybrid working and other excellent benefits.

The Role

The main duties of the Finance Manager role will consist of:

  • Producing management accounts for a number of entities.
  • Preparing the annual budget.
  • Accruals and prepayments.
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register.
  • Preparing VAT returns.
  • Business partnering with stakeholders regarding budget variances and queries.
  • Line management of x2 Finance Assistants; conducting reviews, providing training/support when required.

Requirements

To be considered for the Finance Manager role, you must ideally possess the following skills/attributes:

  • Must have management accounting experience.
  • AAT/CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Experience managing/supervising a team would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organised.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Confident user of Excel; pivot tables and lookups.

Salary & Benefits

  • £37,000 - £42,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working; 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
  • Local government pension scheme.
  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
  • On-site parking.
