In this Finance Manager role, you will:

  • Oversee the financial management of three entities, liaising with senior stakeholders to discuss budgets and ensure everything is accounted for and managed smoothly.
  • Take charge of processing purchase orders, approving payment runs, and keeping finances on track.
  • Produce monthly management accounts and present reports to senior leadership, advising on budget matters and supporting grant management.
  • Assist with year-end financial preparations, ensuring everything is ready for audit.
  • Provide line management to two Finance Officers, offering guidance and support as they develop their skills.
  • Collaborate closely with other finance teams during transition periods and maintain calm, steady leadership.

The role is based on a hybrid working pattern, with flexible hours, and offers a great opportunity to lead financial operations in the public sector!
