Streetscene Operative

Location: Salisbury

Salary: £24,309 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, work pattern of 5 out of 7 days per week (including weekends)

Salisbury City Council has a rewarding opportunity for the right individual to join our friendly team, contributing to keeping the streets of Salisbury clean for all to enjoy.

About the role:

• Removal of litter
• Servicing street litter bins
• Street sweeping
• Removing weeds, graffiti, and fly-tipping
• Gathering evidence required for prosecutions
• Driving a Streetscene vehicle
• Steam cleaning

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working outdoors
• Has good mobility to meet the physical demands of the job
• Able to work a rota over 5 of 7 days per week (including weekends)
• Has a full driving license - Essential
