This is Full-Time, temporary position. As an Assembly Operative, you will be working in a small friendly team to assemble Mechanical and Electrical components using a wide range of tools.Your key responsibilities will include:- Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut and assemble components- Pick items as per the works instruction- Build items to manufacturing procedures- Test items to relevant production test procedures and update test record- Ensure all machinery and equipment is used is left in a safe & clean condition- Work alone and as part of a team building large/complex orders- Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30 with 15:30 finish on Friday- Based in Downton, Salisbury- £11.44 per hourRequirements for this role:- Mechanical/Electrical assembly experience ideal- Use of hand, power and crimping tools- Ability to read and follow instructions in both written and verbal format- Attention to detail- Able to get to siteTo find out more about this Assembly Operative role, please speak to Paul at the Pertemps office or alternatively apply online
