Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven 4 years+ PQE Lawyer to join the busy dispute resolution department of 2 Lawyers and 1 Paralegal and potentially take over as Department Head. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for you to demonstrate your excellent people skills, strong organisational and time management abilities, and proficiency in IT.This position is ideal for a solicitor with demonstrated expertise, a commitment to exceptional client care, and a track record of strong billing. While prior experience as a Head of Department is advantageous, it is not essential.The Firm is dedicated to cultivating specialised areas of expertise to surpass regional and national competition. The Firm fully support the development of niche legal areas, whether this is an area you have already established or you're keen to explore new avenues alongside your current workload. Your initiative in this regard will be greatly encouraged and backed by The Firm.The position is available on a fully remote basis; however, the firm will exclusively consider candidates with solid experience in remote work specifically within law firms. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work effectively without direct supervision.Type of work - The role will replace an existing Lawyers caseload of mainly Civil Litigation with some more limited Commercial Litigation work.The current caseload is split as follows:
  • Contested probate claims (70%)
  • Other commercial and civil litigation, including professional negligence and construction disputes (30%)
