Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff to carry out tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaise with various departments to meet business plans.
  • Maintain accurate stock records through proper stock and EFACs transactions.
  • Investigate and report any stock inaccuracies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement/positive change within the team.
  • Coach and train team members to meet quality and accuracy standards.
  • Maintain appropriate material levels for production needs.
  • Identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Create a safe working environment and conduct necessary audits.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and safe working practises.
  • Manage team time sheets and holidays.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, fostering effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • High accuracy in kitting and data entry, ensuring precision in all tasks.
  • Excellent numeracy and component recognition, supporting efficient work flow.
  • Well-organised with a consistent focus on maintaining a clean and orderly work space.
  • Proactive mindset with a keen eye for identifying and solving problems efficiently.
  • Adaptable and flexible, comfortable working across various warehouse areas as needed.
  • Licensed forklift operator, or open to training for certification.
  • Familiarity with 5S workplace organisation processes, with an eagerness to develop expertise.
