Resourcing Group are currently recruiting for Maintenance Engineers with a Mechanical, Electrical, Fabric or Gas bias to work on behalf of our client undertaking all PPM's on their FM contracts in and around Salisbury.

Our client is actively recruiting for both Site Based and Mobile engineers to undertake an array of PPM's on Equipment and Building Services throughout their clients property portfolio in Salisbury.

As a leading FM contractor, they pride themselves in recruiting individuals with similar ethics to the business themselves - Which are Teamwork, Planning, Communication, Commercial awareness and Risk Management.

Main duties of roles:

Site / Mobile Electrical -

  • Ensure all assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance for electrical activities is completed to schedule
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as per work order instructions
  • Carry out routine maintenance work associated with all electrical systems
  • Isolate defective equipment from power supply, check visually for faults, tests for faults, isolates the problem areas and take corrective action to repair the problem

Must possess:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Building Services industry
  • C&G qualified or equivalent in an electrical services/maintenance
  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation competent
  • IPAF Competance

Site Based Mechanical -

  • AHU filter & belt replacements
  • Pump repairs and maintenance
  • Heat exchanger maintenance, replacement & seal replacement
  • General plumbing repairs.
  • Planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical services and equipment

Must possess:

  • Recognised & relevant mechanical engineering/building maintenance qualifications.
  • Time served/apprentice trained desired.
  • Previous mechanical building services maintenance experience.

Site Based Fabric -

  • Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance to meet client requirements
  • Provide effective feedback to Engineering Managers regarding facilities/system/equipment abnormalities
  • Follow Health & Safety and Environmental requirement

Must possess:

  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence
  • Relevant qualification completed to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent

Mobile Gas -

  • Possess comprehensive technical skills along with extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge, both domestic and commercial of most major manufactures such as Valliant, Powermatic, Riello, Combat, Ambi-Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way, ATAG and Worcester etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of both domestic and commercial systems.
  • Good all round knowledge of heating systems, fixed electrical systems & controls/BMS.
  • Good plumbing skills.

Must possess:

  • COCN1 or CODNCO1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety)
  • CDGA1 (Commercial Direct Fired Heating Appliances)
  • CIGA1 (Commercial Indirect Fire Heating Appliances and Equipment)
  • CORT1 (Commercial Radiant Tube Heaters)
  • ICPN1 (First Fix Commercial Pipework)
  • TPCP1 (Tightness Testing and Purging to IGE/UP/1)
  • TPCP1A (Tightness Testing and Purging to IGE/UP/1A)
  • CCN1 or COCDN1 (Core Domestic Gas Safety
  • CENWAT (Domestic Central Heating/Water Heaters)
  • CPA1 (Combustion Performance Analyser)
