AboutthisRole:

We are seeking a Senior Assistant Property Manager to join our Central Services team and be part of our Salisbury office. In this role you will be assisting the central team with the day to day running of portfolios and supporting the Assistant Property Managers (APMs).As a Senior APM, your role will encompass not only managing your own projects effectively but also providing guidance and support to less experienced APMs within the team. You will also work closely with the team leader to ensure the successful execution of projects and the overall achievement of team goals. Your expertise and experience will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the team.

What is Central Services?

Were doing things a bit differently and you get the best of both worlds! Our Assistant Property Managers assist all regions across Remus to provide the best service possible, so you wont be restricted to one portfolio. Dont worry though, you wont be responsible for 100s of sites and juggling your workload. You will be scheduled on different tasks each day, covering all parts of Property Management, from dealing with communications, compliance, repairs, maintenance, and helping building safety.

MainDuties:

  • Responding to requests from lessees for minor works
  • Liaising with lessees, contractors and surveyors
  • Administration of minor works processes with record keeping, instructing contractors, progress chasing, diary keeping, correspondence, processing invoices, filing.
  • Liaising with other colleagues and departments within the company
  • Providing administrative support to the property manager teams
  • Instructing health, safety and compliance works orders and administrative duties
  • Dealing with telephone calls, correspondence and any other support tasks as required
  • Keeping records of time charges not included within the management agreement
  • Being a referral point for assistant property manager queries, including guidance on systems or procedures

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of working within the property sector, ideally for at least 3 years
  • Experience within an admin and customer service based role
  • Superstar on Microsoft Software (MS word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional and efficient telephone manner. We are a service industry and therefore high standards of professionalism are required when dealing with Clients
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under sustained pressure
  • Must be organised and able to prioritise

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience of using Qube (Property Management database) or Dwellant.
