Your Role:
路 Working within the Capital Projects Team at our Larkhill Project Office, you will be responsible for the commercial delivery of various capital projects within a military estate.
路 To lead on the commercial aspects for your projects from pre-construction activities through to the agreement of final accounts and support the team in the maintenance of robust cost and revenue forecast.
路 Visit sites and carry out surveys as necessary to assist the Pre-construction Team in the preparation of pricing schedules, specifications, and scopes of works and to assess the progress of works to validate supply chain invoices and requests for payment.
路 Liaise with the Procurement Team through the tender process and assist in the analysis of tender submissions and preparation of Joint Recommendations.
路 Produce cost plans, estimates and formal client submissions for your projects.
路 Provision of commercial and contractual advice to the Project Team.
路 Review supply chain quotations and variations to ensure value for money.
路 Administration of project instructions and the management of contingency and risk budgets.
路 Ensure projects are commercially managed in full compliance with company policies and procedures.
路 Mentor and develop junior members of the Commercial Team.

What We鈥檙e Looking For:
路 Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying and membership of a relevant professional body, such as the RICS.
路 Experience: At least ten years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a Building Contractor, preferably in PFI and/or public sector service FM contracts. Be competent in using Microsoft Office software and an aptitude to learn to work with other bespoke systems.
路 Skills: Be an organised, detail-oriented individual with commercial awareness and the ability to negotiate effectively. Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
路 Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
