Based Salisbury
Basic salary £25,400 up to £27,000 depending on experience, plus bonus, pension, healthcare cash plan, discounts on shopping, travel, gym, staff discounts, holidays, further training and development and career progression.
Candidates must be able to work as part of a Rota system, 5 days over a 7 day period, and hold a full UK driving licence.
My client has an exciting opportunity for a well-presented, friendly, and trustworthy Retail Sales Advisor to work in their Salisbury showroom.
Working as a part of the retail team, the successful candidate will demonstrate you are able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
You will be responsible for providing knowledgeable help, advice and actively selling an extensive portfolio of tiles to trade and retail customers, while providing knowledgeable help and advice in a professional, personalised and friendly manner.
You will be a natural salesperson, a good communicator, outgoing, enthusiastic, with a confident personality, any experience in the home improvements sector is desirable, but not essential.

Duties
- Meet, greet, and engage with customers in a confident and proactive way and ascertain what each customer wants or needs
- Complete a sale efficiently, being able to accurately handle money, credit card transactions etc. and provide the customer and the company with the necessary paperwork associated with the sale.
- Use initiative to upsell where appropriate
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires and answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
- Describe the range of products and explain the use, operation, and care of them to customers.
- Update store displays and assist with the unloading and organising of internal and external deliveries
- Assist with the loading, transporting and delivery of goods to customers
- Assist with the maintenance of an organised, efficient sample room and warehouse
- Ensuring all products and orders are accurately labelled
