Import operator£25-30k D.O.ESaltash based - Fully office based role. DK recruitment is looking for an experience import operator for our client in Saltash.The role will involve working closely with customers daily, making sure they are fully update throughout the shipment and logistics process, as well as working with suppliers to establish competitive rates along with delivering high service levels. It would be an advantage in this role if you have exposure to imports & exports, although it is not essential. Our client is looking for someone that's keen, exposure and an understanding to logistics is essential.This role could also be suitable for a confident grad. Key responsibilities for this role
· Receiving jobs, liaise with customers, suppliers, overseas agents, European hauliers etc.
· Providing daily transport solutions for our ever-growing import/export client base.
· Selecting suitable suppliers ensuring that price and service are appropriate to our customers’ requirements.
· Dealing with European Origins - Spain, Italy, Portugal
· Managing LCL, LTL movements import and export.
