Our client, a prominent player in the construction industry, is seeking a Telehandler Operative to join their team on the Saltash Tunnel Refurbishment project. This is a contract role with night shifts, providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating telehandlers to move and place materials as required
- Ensuring the safe and efficient execution of tasks in a night-time working environment
- Conducting pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and supplies
- Working collaboratively with the construction team to ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Job Requirements:
- CPCS certification
- Experience as a Telehandler Operative in the construction sector
- Ability to work night shifts, Monday to Friday, from 20:00 to 05:00
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining telehandler equipment
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Contract Details:
- Start date: 3rd March 2025
- End date: June 2025, with possible extension
- 4+ month contract
- Working hours: 20:00 - 05:00, Monday to Friday
